COVID-19 Update
For the health and safety of our staff, clients and the general public we have put the following measures in place. Individuals are only allowed into the entrance way outside our main office door where we have placed a table with pens and envelopes and a "drop off box" for clients to drop their personal income tax source documents into. Clients will be phoned about their tax returns within a few days. Please respect social distancing when in the entrance way.
We also encourage the use of our online "portal" account on our website as you can scan and upload your tax slips, medical, RRSP's, donations, etc. in there as well.
As always, you are free to call or email our staff or partners if you have any questions pertaining to your personal tax returns or other financial needs.
Please see our blog page for a summary of the Federal and Provincial COVID-19 response measures along with the related links.
A Message to Our Clients on COVID-19
With recent events unfolding regarding COVID-19, we wanted to reach out to say that L&A CPA LLP is here to help you. We want to make sure filing your taxes is easy, convenient and that we are available to you.
Technology today allows you to scan documents using your phone and upload them to our secure portal from the comfort and convenience of your home. If you don't have a portal account, you can register by clicking on our portal link.
Currently our offices are open Monday to Friday 8am-5pm for drop off and pickup. We are encouraging phone appointments to cut down the traffic in our office. Partners are still available to meet but by appointment only.
We want to assure you that we've taken numerous precautions to keep our offices clean and our clients and staff safe, including deeper cleanings and alcohol-based sanitizers available. We will continue to monitor and follow provincial and federal health agencies recommendations. Office hours and meeting availability may change accordingly.
Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has announced new programs today, which include:
